THE
POLYPAVEMENT APPLICATION INFORMATION
on this web site is part of the innovative Natural Soil Pavement Technology
that has been developed by ECO-Polymers. ECO's PolyPavement materials
and application technology have been under development and continual
refinement since 1985. The application instructions made available
here have been prepared to address the unique chemical and physical
properties of PolyPavement Soil Solidifier. All polymers differ
and require application processes that give meaningful consideration
to the specific properties of the specific polymers. Before attempting
a full-size project, it is strongly recommended that all PolyPavement
applicators use the Self Demonstration Instructions to complete a
small trial size application to gain minimal experience with PolyPavement
and to demonstrate the effects that a PolyPavement mix-in or spray-on
application has on a given soil.
APPLICATION
NOTE: The minimum soil temperature is 42°F with no exceptions.
*DILUTION RATIOS:
for full-scale projects: (1) Mix-in dilution ratios are set precisely
according to the soil moisture content. (2) Dilution ratios, spread
rates and depth of treatment vary depending on factors such as soil
conditions, desired end-results, performance criteria, etc. (3) PolyPavement
Technical Department provides a precise application process and written
instructions in accordance with project performance specifications.
**SOIL SUITABILITY
TEST: (1) Squeeze a handful of moistened soil into a tight
clump and open the hand. (2) If the clump of soil holds together in
one piece when the hand is opened, break it in half gently. If the
clump of soil breaks cleanly into two pieces, the soil is suitable.
If the clump of soil comes apart into many pieces, the soil is not
suitable and may not be used.
